The difference between the TEJAtec roof tile and the clay tile is the lower consumption of mortar.
The first line of tile will be installed with the help of a tightly installed threat for a proper line.The fist line of tiles will be put in place with the double amount of mortar at the bottom edge of the tile. This effectuates a balance of the level due to the fact that the first row has no tile in front. Terefore, the bottom row has same slope than the following row.
For a proper line the threat is installed every 11.7 inch to 12.87 inch (30cm x 33cm) to bed stone after stone into moratar and to align them.
