Installation on wooden laths:

Professionally installed the wooden laths do not damage the roof. The nails woll be sealed with the lath and the bottom using a little bit of bitumen primer.

TEJAtec only uses high quality nails made of steel. The nails are ambedded into the lath and protected above from the roof stone. They last a life time without any oxidation.

Compared to the installation with concrete the installation with wooden laths has the advantages of the air buffer between roof stones and roof construction. The roof stone is like a shadow for the roof and the air buffer is like an isolation. The room temperature is at least three to ten degree lower because the temperature can not be easily transferred from the roof tile to the roof construction.

Another advantage is the fact that the roof tile can be uncomplicated replaced for reparations, reconstructions or extensions without destroying any other roof tiles.

The installation on wooden laths on top of a wooden roof construction allows our roof tiles to react flexible to the impacts of any weather condition.
A wooden roof with concrete roof tiles or clay roof tiles has three different building materials which are exposed to the sun with different strains to the heat of the sun.
