Grid and Inclination
The distance between the rafters or vertical laths is between 25.35 inch and 29.25 inch (65 cm and 75 cm). The vertical laths have an ideal distance between 11.7 inch and 12.87 inch (30 cm and 33 cm). To achieve a regular patter of the roof surface the roof is divided into raster.
In general, the inclination of the roof needs to be determined if the roof needs to be sealed under the installation of the roof tiles.

With an inclination of 30 degree or more the laths can be installed directly onto of the construction. Less than 30 degree inclination requires a sealing with bitumen primer or tarpaper. We use the
bitumen-tar-sticks for the sealing of our roofs.

The laths can be installed after the sealing is waterproof. The lowest horizontal row of the laths will be a double lath in order to adjust the level.
